American Heart Association Go Red – 2017
June 2, 2017 – I was honored to be the keynote speaker for the Brooklyn Go Red For Women Luncheon for the American Heart Association. I LOVE working with AHA!! I started volunteering for them over ten years ago and still serve as a National Spokesperson. Over the years, I’ve been an Advocate for Power (Power To End Stroke), and have served on their International Stroke Committee, New York State Advocacy Committee, Multicultural Leadership Committee, Harlem Go Red Committee and Social Media Subcommittee.
The Brooklyn Go Red For Women Luncheon is a powerful event that brings together female leaders from throughout the community to help fight against heart disease, heightening awareness of the issue and empowering leaders to educate others about the movement. I offered a dose of Power Living and reminded them of their potentiality as individuals and change agents. See pictures below.
